Pasadena California Residence Inn

Developed by Newport Beach, R.D. Olson Development and Pacific Hospitality Group, Inc., of Irvine, California, this eight-story, 250-room hotel features unique design details and amenities that will add elegance to this iconic Southern California surfing city. Construction announces plans to open on the site of the famous Huntington Beach Pier, which attracts more than 16 million visitors annually.

The design elements of the hotel are art - crafted, combining iconic period furnishings with modern details. If you don't have memories in the house, you can enjoy some of Southern California's favorite attractions, including the Pasadena Arboretum, Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History and the San Gabriel Mountains. This restaurant is located on the top of Pasadena in an old, beautiful artisan house tucked behind the HRS Hotel on the corner of Colorado Blvd and Pasadena Avenue. The news is free and can be read on the front page of the Los Angeles Times, the Pasadena Daily News or the LA Times website. Pasadena on Colorado Boulevard is the best way to discover it with its many restaurants, shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.

US Route 66, immortalized in songs and literature, passes through Pasadena, turns off at Colorado Place and then through the city of Pasadena on its way to Los Angeles. The main east-west streets are Colorado Boulevard, Drive-in Drive, Oak Avenue (live Oak Ave) and Pasadena Boulevard. In 1947, 111 acres (0.45 km2), the heart of Baldwin Ranch, were developed and transferred to the State of California and Los Angeles County. The city was home to a number of businesses that served travelers on what is now Colorado Boulevard, including the Arcadia and Santa Anita shopping centers and the racetrack, both located in the same area, south of Pasadena Boulevard and north of downtown. In 1946, Baldwin's opened its first retail store on Colorado Avenue, the first of its kind in Southern California, with Baldwin himself as a shareholder.

The hotel was also the headquarters of the California Institute of Technology (CAIT) and California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) and was the site of the first public-private partnership between Cal Tech and JPL. The hotel was also home to Cal Poly Pomona, the University of Southern California and Cal State Long Beach.

Old Pasadena can be used for parking in the Pasadena California Residence Inn parking lot on the corner of Main Street and Pasadena Boulevard. The Residences Inn Los Angeles is known for its great views of Pasadena and is also known as the location of some of California's most famous events and events, including California State University, Long Beach (CSULA), Cal Poly Pomona (CalPoly), the University of Southern California (UCSB) and Cal State Long Island (USC).
